Child psychologist in the Amsterdam – The Hague area
A calm place for your child to read, speak and settle in
I am a child psychologist working in the Amsterdam, Schiphol, Leiden and The Hague area. I support children who find reading and writing hard — with or without a dyslexia diagnosis — and I help families find their footing after a move to a new country. I work in several languages, so your child and you can speak in the words that come most easily.

How I can help
Reading & writing support
Assessment, treatment and practical guidance for children who struggle with reading and spelling — and for the parents standing next to them.
Reading & writing supportMoving & settling in
Coaching for children and parents who have moved to the Netherlands: a new school, a new language, missing home, and finding who you are here.
Moving & settling inWhy languages matter to me
I am a polyglot. I have learned what it feels like to think in one language and be understood in another, and I have seen how much lighter a child becomes when they are allowed to switch. In our sessions your child never has to translate their feelings first.
I work in English, Dutch, Finnish and Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian.
Who I usually see
- Children between roughly 6 and 16, and their parents
- Expat and international families living in the Amsterdam, Schiphol, Leiden and The Hague area
- Dutch families who want support in English
- Children growing up between two or more languages
Not sure where to start?
That is completely normal. Write me a short message about your child and what worries you, and I will tell you whether I am the right person — and what I would suggest if I am not.
